He was a great classmate and role model in many ways. Paul had a unique combination of intellect and athleticism. Anyone in Dr. Swicker’s AP chemistry class would remember the banter between the two of them. It was entertaining. I have fond memories of Paul dating back to grade school at St Louis, and at CBHS. God bless you Paul To this day, I still fondly recall our time together as two Memphis Brothers Boys in the same dorm at Notre Dame. The long rides back and forth between Memphis and South Bend gave us time to talk about everything, and his depth of thinking and faith never ceased to amaze me. He had such a wonderful outlook on life . . . even when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere in IL and we had to walk a few miles in the snow to the nearest gas station.
